What is OTA?
OTHER TRANSACTION AUTHORITY
Other Transactions (OTs) is a particular contract vehicle similar to private sector contracts between the government and non-government entities. It’s a great contracting process for academic institutions and market segments within technology sectors to provide research and development prototypes that benefit the US Government. These non-conventional contracts are not subject to the same federal laws and regulations governed by traditional government contract opportunities.
OTs are often delivered in various forms based on the purpose of the research or prototype provided. At 3E Work, we primarily work with OTs for prototypes authorized under the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Prototypes developed through OTA may include physical and virtual models used to assess the technical, manufacturing, and military capabilities of a specific technology, process, proof of concept, device, or system. There is a broad range of activities conducted under the OTA process for prototypes.

How We Work?
3E Work is an OT Consortium, an association of like-minded businesses established to deliver innovative prototypes for US military projects. We operate under a standard set of business objectives, supporting our business partners through the rewarding OTA process. To join 3E Work, each member must apply through an online form with an annual membership fee of $500. Once the member agrees to our consortium's terms, we will take each member through a rewarding process to qualify and apply for OTA contracts.
